Diagnostics
The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) that all modern vehicles feature is a computer that controls engine operation.
Its main function is to keep the engine running at maximum efficiency whilst keeping emissions at the lowest possible level in order to adhere to strict emission regulations now in place.
This is not a simple task. Precise adjustments have to be constantly carried out by the ECU depending upon factors such as speed, engine temperature, load, fuel quality, ambient air temperature, road conditions etc.
In order to compete with main dealers, we use top of the range Bosch diagnostic equipment. Bosch are one of the leading names in the world for auto diagnostics and, equally important, their technical support and knowledge is the very best.
They also run courses in this country, which our staff have attended.
